What is your Tea Type ?

We know that it can be a little overwhelming with so many different varieties of Tea's out there so here is a quick guide that should make things a little easier for you.

MORNINGS
Pretty much anything goes in the mornings. Black, green, oolong, and even pu-erh teas are all great ways to kick off the day. That being said, if caffeine is a concern, then white and herbal blends are also great for getting you going, particularly anything with a bit of spice to help bring about wakefulness.

LUNCH TIME
Black, oolong, pu-erh, and green teas are great for energy and digestion. Green teas in particular are a great way to help the body digest and give clients a stable energy the need to get through the rest of the day.

MID-AFTERNOON
White teas are the perfect companion for a mid-afternoon break. Light and refreshing with just a whisper of caffeine, these teas are great for restoring alertness for the remainder of the afternoon. Herbals are also great for adding a touch of flavour for the blandness that is 2-4pm.

SUPPER AND EARLY EVENING
Green and pu-erh teas are often drunk with meals to aide with digestion with black and oolong teas enjoyed afterwards. The lighter characteristics of white teas also provide a pleasant contrast to the feeling of a full stomach. Clients who are sensitive to caffeine should be aware that black, pu-erh, and oolong teas might keep them up past their regular bedtime if consumed less than three hours before.

LATE EVENING AND BEFORE BED
Stick to herbal blends before bed unless caffeine isn’t a concern. White teas are okay for most people to drink before bed, but those who are sensitive to caffeine might want to avoid them.
